Preparing for the Camino can feel like a Camino in itself.

There is so much information out there. Different Facebook groups, blogs, videos, apps, packing lists and opinions, and often they all tell you something different. We created Pre-Camino Support so you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. We meet at least once a month on Zoom calls, you can learn from the recorded sessions when you need them, but more importantly, you have a group of pilgrims preparing alongside you and a place to bring your questions as your plans develop. Not sure how to divide your stages? Ask. Worried about your backpack, training, accommodation or the first day? Ask. Something changes three months after you join? Come back and ask again. We prepare together, so when the time comes to take your first step, you don’t feel like you’ve spent months trying to piece everything together alone.

Use the recorded sessions to help you plan your stages, pack, train, prepare your body, understand what to expect and much more. You don’t have to watch everything. Go straight to what is useful for your Camino.

Prepare together on our live Zoom calls

We meet at least once every month to prepare together, answer questions and talk through what is coming up for the pilgrims in the group. When there is a topic that needs more attention, we add extra calls.

Have somewhere to ask

Questions will come up as your plans develop. Ask the community or send them to us as they arise, so you don’t have to start searching through Facebook groups, blogs and conflicting advice every time you are unsure about something.

1. IS THIS PROGRAM RECORDED OR LIVE? It’s a mix. You get recorded classes you can watch anytime, plus live Zoom support calls where we prepare together and answer your real questions. 2. WHAT IF I HAVE A QUESTION THAT ISN’T COVERED? Reach out to us at [email protected]. If something important isn’t in the recordings, we’ll arrange a group Zoom call for it. Our only goal is that you feel ready, confident, and supported before your first step. 3. HOW LONG DO I HAVE ACCESS TO THE PROGRAM? You have 12 months of full access from the day you join. However, your Camino doesn’t need to be 12 months away. You can join with only a few weeks or months to go, use the program while you prepare, and keep your access afterwards too. Your access includes the live Zoom calls, live-call replays, updates, new material added during your year and our post-Camino integration calls. 4. DO I NEED TO JOIN THE LIVE CALLS TO BENEFIT FROM THE PROGRAM? No. If you can’t join a call, every session is recorded and added to the program so you can watch it later. But the live calls are an important part of Pre-Camino Support. We meet at least once every month to prepare together, answer questions and learn from what other pilgrims in the group are experiencing. Join whenever you can. If you can’t, you still have the recordings and you can send us your questions. 5. Bring your plans and questions to us and we’ll help you work through them during the support calls. 6. DO THE RECORDED LESSONS REPLACE THE RETREAT? No, the retreat is a separate immersive experience. This course is designed for everyone: retreat participants and those walking independently who want guidance, clarity, and support. 7. IS THIS PROGRAM SUITABLE FOR COMPLETE BEGINNERS? Absolutely. Most of our pilgrims are walking their first Camino. We guide you gently and clearly through everything: practical, emotional, and physical. 8. WILL THIS HELP ME IF I’M ALREADY EXPERIENCED? Yes. Many experienced pilgrims told us they learned new techniques, simplified their gear, avoided injuries, or walked with more presence thanks to the mindset and practical modules. 9. DO I NEED SPECIAL EQUIPMENT TO FOLLOW THE TRAINING? No. Everything is designed to be done at home with minimal space. A yoga mat and your trekking poles for those specific sessions are helpful but not required. 10. CAN I ASK PERSONAL QUESTIONS ABOUT MY ITINERARY, FITNESS, GEAR, OR CONCERNS? Yes. That’s exactly what the live calls and support are for. Bring your itinerary, gear questions or concerns to us and we’ll help you work through them. 11. CAN I START THE PROGRAM EVEN IF MY CAMINO IS MONTHS AWAY? Yes. Whether your Camino is next month, in six months or still a year away, you can join whenever you need support. There is no set starting date and no schedule you have to catch up with. 12. WHAT IF I FEEL OVERWHELMED OR BEHIND? That's exactly what the program is designed to reduce. You don't need to complete everything at once. Start with what you need now and use the rest when it becomes relevant. 13. CAN I JOIN FROM ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD? Yes. The recordings work for all time zones, and we offer support via email and during live calls. 14. WHAT IF I JOIN THE PRE-CAMINO SUPPORT PROGRAM AND LATER WANT TO JOIN THE RETREAT? The Pre-Camino Support Program is included for retreat participants. If you join the program now and later decide to join the retreat, just send us an email at [email protected].
